Celebrating 39 Years of Allpa
Today marks a milestone: 39 years since we began this journey (back in 1986) as young professionals united by admiration and respect for Peru’s artisan traditions. Over nearly four decades, we’ve grown—with commitment, passion and purpose—always striving to stay true to our roots and values.
At the heart of Allpa is our human team. From managers, coordinators, collaborators, logistics experts, designers, to the artisans themselves—every person shapes our mission. We believe that beautiful products come from committed workshops: safe, dignified, supportive. We work alongside artisans, helping them transform into entrepreneurs—supporting their growth, improving working conditions, and offering fair remuneration.
To our loyal customers, near and far: thank you. Your trust, passion for meaningful crafts, and support for ethical production have carried us through seasons of change. Your voice encourages us to improve, innovate, and reach further.
Throughout our long trajectory, Allpa has built a reputation grounded in fair trade principles. We design with intention, respect the dignity of craft, commit to transparent partnerships, and stand for fair wages and conditions. This is not just a label for us—it’s how we choose to operate every day.
Yet these 39 years have not been without challenges. Recently, rising U.S. tariffs have posed obstacles in exporting and competing globally. But we face this with resilience—not defeat. We are adapting, rethinking strategies, exploring new markets, and doubling down on efficiency and storytelling.
Our posture remains positive and forward-looking. We believe craft can thrive and communities can grow. We believe Allpa’s next decades will be stronger than ever—with deeper connection to artisans, more innovation, and expanding impact.
Here’s to 39 years of shared history—and to the many chapters ahead.
