Today, August 1st, we celebrate the national day of the Alpaca, with the aim of spreading our beloved South American camelid over the world, its importance, its fiber, and how it contributes to the support of many Peruvian families through its breeding.
Peru has 87% of the world population of alpacas and we are the first producers of its fiber.
